.. to the website of the Centre for Global Education The Centre is a non-governmental development organisation based in Belfast which aims to raise awareness about global issues and encourage action toward social change. We organise events, deliver training, produce publications and provide a wide range of resources to target groups in the formal and non-formal education sectors. You can download many of our publications from this site and find out about the range of resources available from our library located on our premises at 9 University Street, Belfast. Please navigate around the site and send us your feedback and suggestions. Visitors to our site will also be interested in two additional resources from the Centre for Global Education. The first is our E-Bulletin, an essential source of information on events, jobs, funding sources and resources in the international development sector. You can subscribe to the E-Bulletin for free and it will be delivered directly to your email; an easy way to keep yourself in the global picture. The second is our bi-annual journal Policy and Practice: A Development Education Review, the only journal on development education published in the island of Ireland. The journal provides a space for global education practitioners to critically reflect on their practice and discuss the main challenges facing the sector.
