 The Centre is a non-governmental development organisation based in Belfast which aims to raise awareness about global issues and encourage action toward social change. We organise events, deliver training, produce publications and provide a wide range of resources to target groups in the formal and non-formal education sectors. You can download many of our publications from this site and find out about the range of resources available from our library located on our premises at 9 University Street, Belfast. Visitors to our site will also be interested in two additional resources from the Centre for Global Education. The first is our E-Bulletin, an essential source of information on events, jobs, funding sources and resources in the international development sector.  You can subscribe to the E-Bulletin for free and it will be delivered directly to your email; an easy way to keep yourself in the global picture. The second is our bi-annual journal Policy and Practice: A Development Education Review, the only journal on development education published in the island of Ireland. The journal provides a space for global education practitioners to critically reflect on their practice and discuss the main challenges facing the sector.
